Hi, I’m Jackie. I’m a graphic designer, an American currently living in the English countryside, and the original mayhem maker.

Mild Mayhem started as a lifestyle brand for Xennials who are over the pressure to make everything look perfect. Life is usually more interesting when we’re honest about the mess, the weird bits, and the things that didn’t go according to plan.

Mild Mayhem Goes Places brings that same attitude to travel.

Most of these adventures are shared with my husband, Dan, who is very much my partner in mayhem. Living overseas has given us the chance to visit some incredible places, and I know how lucky we are to have these experiences.

I created this site because I don’t want those memories to fade into the background or get buried in a camera roll. I want to remember what a place actually felt like, including the beautiful sights, unexpected moments, excellent food, wrong turns, strange observations, and stories we’ll still be telling years from now.

This is where I’m keeping those memories and sharing what we learn along the way. Not a polished highlight reel. Just a more honest record of the amazing places we get to see and the mild mayhem that inevitably comes with them.
